What this system does
Pedestrian barriers help apply access rules without making the entrance confusing. TekRabbits chooses between tripod, full-height, flap and wide swing lanes based on throughput, supervision, accessibility and evacuation strategy. RFID, biometric, face or QR readers can be considered as part of the wider access system.
TekRabbits reviews the site and recommends a system with the necessary controls, protection and manual procedures. Final capacities, options and interfaces are confirmed in the quotation for your installation.
Available configurations
A compact access lane for offices, education and venues; manual and automated configurations are available.
Ask about this configurationA longer-body tripod design that can provide a more substantial lane enclosure.
Ask about this configurationA perimeter-oriented pedestrian barrier for sites requiring a taller, more controlled passage.
Ask about this configurationRetracting flaps support higher-throughput pedestrian access with obstruction sensors.
Ask about this configurationA wider controlled lane for wheelchair access, deliveries or large items alongside standard pedestrian lanes.
Ask about this configurationLanes for different levels of control
A compact tripod lane, a taller perimeter turnstile and an accessible passage solve different circulation needs. Entry readers are only one part of a safe pedestrian route.

Specification guide
The questions below shape capacity, installation effort, controls and safety. A short site survey or clear photographs and dimensions can resolve many of them before the quotation.
Plan the whole pedestrian entry

Estimate people per minute, queue length, visitor flow and the need for a wheelchair or goods lane.
Compare tripod, flap, full-height and wide swing barriers with the supervision and security policy.
Test credential decisions, directional cues, obstruction sensing and emergency-release behaviour.
Review moving arms or flaps, reader alignment, safety sensors and attendance integration during routine care.
TekRabbits support
Our support covers product selection, installation coordination, commissioning, user guidance, maintenance planning, spare parts and fault diagnosis. We agree any project-specific response and service terms before deployment.

Ask about your siteThe TekRabbits range covers Vertical tripod turnstile, Bridge tripod turnstile, Full-height turnstile, Flap barrier, Wide passage swing barrier. We narrow the choice using the site conditions and confirm the exact capacity and options in the proposal.
A compact access lane for offices, education and venues; manual and automated configurations are available. A longer-body tripod design that can provide a more substantial lane enclosure. We compare the actual operating duty, installation geometry and controls before recommending one.
Estimate people per minute and peak queue length. Measurements let us check capacity and fit instead of guessing from a product name.
Provide an accessible route and define emergency release behaviour. Tell us about peak use and any unusual environment so the equipment and controls fit daily operation.
Plan reader type, attendance integration and operator oversight. We agree the protective devices and manual procedure for the installed configuration before commissioning.
Compatible card, QR, face or visitor-management readers can authorise passage through a turnstile or pedestrian barrier. We define the reader-to-controller signal, anti-tailgating response and emergency release before integration.
Often. A retrofit needs enough clear pedestrian width, a firm mounting base, power and network routes, and an accessible alternative for people who cannot use the barrier. Fire and emergency egress behaviour must be agreed for the site.
Inspect arms or glass leaves, drive and locking action, sensing, reader feedback and the emergency release. Test the free-exit condition and record any fault or repeated denial of passage.
No. “Every day of the year” describes when the TekRabbits support route is available, rather than a one-year after-sales term. On-site attendance, parts and response targets are set in the project agreement.
