1. Personal data we collect

We collect personal data you provide directly, data generated through use of our website and account, and data received from authorised sources connected with an enquiry, order or service relationship. Depending on the interaction, this may include your name, business name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, billing and delivery address, account credentials, order history, communications, payment status, tax information, support records, technical request details and files or content you choose to submit.

We may automatically collect limited technical data including IP address, browser type, device and operating-system information, pages viewed, referring URL, access times, cookie identifiers, session information and diagnostic logs. Do not include highly sensitive credentials, private keys, payment-card data or unrelated personal data in technical design files.

8. AI tools and submitted information

We use AI to provide component search and engineering assistance. When you submit a request, the text, follow-up answers and any files or technical details supported by that tool may be processed by our AI service providers to interpret the request, retrieve relevant information and generate or check a result. Exact component identifiers and relevant search terms may also be sent to search services to locate public catalogue or manufacturer information. Please submit only information you are authorised to share, and omit passwords, API keys, payment details, unnecessary personal data and confidential project material.

AI processing may take place outside India. Provider security, abuse-prevention and legal-retention records can have different retention periods from the case saved on TekRabbits; deleting a case here does not necessarily erase records already lawfully retained by a provider. We do not publish private case submissions as public results. Processing is governed by this Policy and the applicable service-provider arrangements; disabling application response storage is not a promise of zero provider retention.

Retention depends on the feature. Real Impedance AI Assistant, Reference Circuit AI Architect and Power and Trace AI Assistant cases are privately accessible through the originating browser identity or signed-in account for seven days. Power and Trace keeps reduced private source-page previews with the case; original uploads are discarded after interpretation. Moving its case to trash allows recovery until the original expiry and does not extend retention. Secure browser identity cookies last 30 days and renew on return; guest analysis allowances reset seven days after an accepted analysis. Other tools may retain saved account items, such as a parts basket, until you remove them or they are no longer needed under this Policy. Limited usage, security, backup and legally required records may remain for their applicable periods. To request access, correction or deletion, withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing, or raise a concern, use the privacy contact below. Withdrawing from AI processing means not submitting further requests; it does not remove other privacy rights.

Optional result feedback. To support result reviews, we keep a private completion record for up to seven days. If you submit a star rating or written review, we save it together with the associated question, follow-up conversation, answer, calculations, source references and available technical diagnostics, such as timing, errors, retrieval steps and usage information. These records help us investigate issues and improve our tools. They are accessible only to authorised site administrators, are not published as public reviews, and are automatically deleted from active feedback storage 90 days after submission. We exclude credentials, authentication cookies, secret keys, opaque encrypted reasoning, uploaded source-document files and source-page preview images. Avoid including confidential or unnecessary personal information in a review. Deleting or moving a tool case to trash does not separately delete an already submitted feedback record; you can request its deletion through the privacy contact below.
