Automation ServicesYear-Round Support

The TekRabbits commitment

Support every day of the year for the whole system.

Automation must keep working after the installation team leaves. TekRabbits stays available every day of the year for product, control, operation and service questions across your system.

One point of responsibility

Support begins before the first motor moves.

The most useful support starts at specification. We document the site conditions, intended behaviour, controls and safety devices so a future question has context. During deployment we check the relevant operating modes and explain routine use. After handover, the same TekRabbits service route remains available throughout the year.

Coverage spans door, gate, parking, baggage screening, window, access control and uPVC fabrication equipment supplied through our automation range. The exact maintenance schedule, response arrangements and parts terms are agreed for each project.

What our support covers

Help at every stage of ownership.

Selection and scope

Review site conditions, capacity, controls, safety requirements and compatible options before the system is ordered.

Installation coordination

Clarify foundations, openings, power, cabling, mounting and interfaces so site work is aligned with the chosen equipment.

Commissioning

Check travel, limits, sensor response, access logic and documented operating modes before handover.

User guidance

Explain daily operation, manual release, basic checks and the right information to capture if a fault occurs.

Maintenance planning

Plan inspections and care for moving parts, sensors, drives, controls and the surrounding installation.

Faults and parts

Help diagnose symptoms, identify the affected component and coordinate service or a suitable replacement part.

Support in real operating conditions

The fault is rarely just one part.

A useful service response looks at the equipment, its controls and the site around it. These examples show how TekRabbits frames the first investigation.

Automatic entrances

A door opens unexpectedly

We review the sensor field, nearby reflections, controller settings and traffic path, then confirm that the safety coverage still protects the full passage.

Gate movement

A gate stops before its limit

We check the track or hinge effort, drive, limit sensing and obstruction devices before treating the motor as the cause. Operators are guided on safe manual use while the fault is assessed.

Parking systems

An exit transaction does not match

We trace the credential or ticket, entry record, tariff rule, operator action and barrier command so software and lane equipment are reviewed together.

Workshop tools

Fabrication quality changes

We review the profile, tool setup, temperature or cutting path, operator procedure and routine care before recommending parts or a process adjustment.

When something changes on site

From a clear symptom to a verified return to service.

An entrance that hesitates, a barrier that refuses to close or an intermittent reader needs a useful diagnosis before a part is changed. We work from the observed behaviour, the installation record and the safety state, then agree the next action with your site team.

Technician checking the controller board and electrical signals of an automation system
Controller and wiring checks help separate a component fault from a power, sensor or configuration issue.
Technician inspecting a vehicle barrier safety sensor on site
On-site verification includes the travel path, safety devices and the people who operate the system.
Capture the behaviour

Tell us what happened, when it started, any display or controller indication and whether the opening or lane remains safely usable. A short video can help.

Review the whole installation

We compare symptoms with the equipment, power supply, controls, sensors, access logic and surrounding site conditions before recommending a remedy.

Agree the service action

Depending on the finding, the next step may be an operator check, a setting review, a technician visit or a suitable replacement part.

Verify and record

After intervention, we check normal movement, relevant safety responses and user operation, then record what changed for future maintenance.

Agree the service plan up front

Coverage that can be understood before installation.

Support is available every calendar day. The proposal then sets out the parts of service that must be specific to the site: the way a request is received, the expected response, remote guidance, on-site attendance, planned inspections, parts policy and the records handed to your team.

Daily route
How your team raises an operational or fault question on any day of the year.
On-site response
Location, travel and attendance arrangements agreed for the installation.
Preventive care
Inspection points and intervals based on equipment, environment and duty cycle.
Parts and records
Compatibility, availability, service notes and safe handover information.

Frequently asked

Year-round support questions

Clear answers about coverage, service planning, response terms and what to do when something changes.

Ask about your site
Does every-day support mean the first 365 days after purchase?

No. It means the TekRabbits support route is available on every calendar day, year after year. It is not the duration of a one-year warranty or service contract.

Is an engineer available on site at any hour?

Availability of the support route does not by itself set a 24-hour on-site attendance promise. The proposal states the response window, site coverage and attendance terms for the installation.

Which parts of an automation system can TekRabbits help with?

We can help with the selected product, controls, sensors, operating procedure, maintenance planning, fault diagnosis and parts coordination across the supplied system.

Will operators receive training at handover?

We explain the normal operating modes, manual release or override where applicable, routine checks and the way to report a fault for the installed configuration.

What should I provide when reporting a fault?

Provide the site, equipment reference, symptom, time it started, any safe observations, and photographs where useful. Never bypass a protective device to gather evidence.

Can support start before installation?

Yes. Product selection, site preparation, interface clarification and commissioning plans are part of the support path, not afterthoughts.

Can you help with replacement parts?

We identify the affected component against the installed configuration and coordinate a suitable part or service action. Availability and commercial terms are confirmed for the project.

How is preventive maintenance planned?

Intervals reflect the equipment type, duty cycle, environment and safety criticality. The proposal or handover documentation sets the agreed checks.

Can the concierge help with a support question?

The embedded concierge can explain the range and help frame a question. For a fault, service commitment or site-specific decision, the TekRabbits team reviews the actual installation.

How do I request support for an existing system?

Use the Automation Services enquiry page and choose year-round support. Share the product, site location, symptoms or maintenance objective, and any available handover documents.

Plan support with the system.

Tell us your site, equipment and service expectations. We’ll define the practical coverage in your proposal.
